This month, the Cancer Council urged parents to ditch packing ham sandwiches for their children, out of fear that processed meats were linked to forms of cancer.

While a ham sandwich is a classic lunchbox staple, this new concern has inspired parents to get creative and reach for healthier alternatives (that are just as easy to prepare) when doing the weekly grocery run.
